CARE INSTRUCTIONS
In order to activate the warranty and to ensure the Product remains in excellent condition year after year, please follow the care instruction mentioned below. Any failure to adhere to the conditions listed below will immediately void the warranty. Applied Product must be left to cure for a period of not less than 48 hours prior to being exposed or subjected to washing, or similar cleaning treatment so as to enable the pressure-sensitive adhesive to cure completely and for any application moisture to evaporate completely (“cure period”), an inspection must be completed by the installer within 72 hours.
After the cure period of 48 hours has elapsed, Buyer shall follow the care instructions mentioned below:
- Clean the Product including the edges of Product where dirt can build up using a clean microfiber towel, on a regular basis, not less than once per week.
- Remove any smashed bugs or tree sap or other materials from the Product as soon as possible to prevent any corrosive effect.
- Wash your car as normal. Microshield Auto Detailing does not recommend the use of high pressure washers to clean the Product. However, if using a high pressure washer, the nozzle must be at least 36” away from the edges of Product to avoid peeling.
- Avoid use of abrasive like powder and clay-type cleaners and degreasers, or rough sponges and paper towels on the Product.
- Avoid use of solvent-based cleaners, bug removers, rubbing compound or any abrasive materials on the Product; avoid applying significant pressure on the Product when cleaning.
- Use of sealant application once in every four months after car wash is recommended.
COVERAGE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, EXPENSE OR COST (“DAMAGE”), RESULTING TO THE PRODUCT FROM ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING REASONS AND Microshield Auto Detailing AND SELLER HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITIES AS MENTIONED BELOW:
- Damage to the Product caused by accident, misuse and unapproved application of the Product.
- Damage caused to the Product as a result of poor application quality.
- General wear and tear to the Product.
- Damage resulting to the Product from flying stones, from buffer accidents or by heavy impact from external source.
- Damage that is caused to the Product by improper maintenance or failure to follow care instructions.
- Damage caused to the Product by pressure washer not used according to the above care instructions or damage caused to the Product by strong solvents or manually peeling up Product or manually scratching of the Product.
- Damage caused to the Product by outside forces and third parties such as auto body shops, service shops, etc.
- Inability of the Product to adhere to the surface with coatings like ceramic, teflon or wax.
- Damage caused to the Product because it was applied on repainted vehicles.
- The degradation of Product with time due to climate conditions which is a natural and unavoidable phenomenon.
- A slight progressive change of the transparency and brightness, as well as peeling off.
UNDER THIS WARRANTY Microshield Auto Detailing WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, DIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE LEGAL THEORY IS BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHER THEORY OF LAW OR EQUITY. THE AFOREMENTIONED LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SHALL NOT APPLY TO OR LIMIT ANY CLAIMS OF DAMAGES TO PERSONS, DAMAGES CAUSED BY INTENT OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE AS WELL AS CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES UNDER ACCORDING APPLICABLE PRODUCT LIABILITY LAWS.
The degradation of Product with time due to climate conditions is a natural and unavoidable phenomenon. A slight progressive change of the transparency and brightness, as well as a slight peeling off at the edges and around the rivets are normal phenomenons which do not fall within the scope of this Warranty.
